ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The Irish Exit, a popular bar in New York, will open its second location in Atlanta’s Centennial Yards project, developers announced on Wednesday.
The modern Irish bar signed a lease for a 4,735-square-foot space in the development’s Entertainment District, including indoor and outdoor areas to eat, drink and socialize. It comes from The Dead Rabbit Group, which founded The Dead Rabbit, a Manhattan pub twice dubbed the World’s Best Bar.
“The Irish Exit exemplifies the kind of bold, hospitality-forward concepts we’re bringing to Centennial Yards,” Brian McGowan, the president of Centennial Yards Company, said in a statement. “The Dead Rabbit team has redefined modern Irish hospitality on a global scale, and their decision to plant roots in Atlanta speaks volumes about the city’s rising stature as a cultural and entertainment destination.”
